Ethan and I are going to be house hunting this evening, not in the traditional sense of course. We are looking to purchase a love shack on wheels soon. Our lease ends at the end of the month, and we are not able to renew because the owners are letting the townhouse go into foreclosure; which is a bit of a bummer but all the more reason to make the leap.
This investment will speed up our decision to live more simply. Sorting through all of our "stuff" will be a bit of a task...but I'm looking forward to the end result. Selling, donating, or giving away our possessions to family and friends is going to be such a freeing experience! I can already feel the anxiety build up but I can't wait to experience life in a different way!
I never imagined that I would be voluntarily choosing a lifestyle like this, but how awesome of an adventure? Really...I will have an opportunity to travel America, while I am young, healthy, and active...experience and see the natural beauty and landscape of our country. Where ever I go...there I will be! The world will be outside my window!
If I get bored with a particular location, we'll pack up and apply for a NPS position at a different park! OH...the options...the world may not be entirely accessible via travel trailer...but North America sure is and I cannot wait to literally ride out this thing they call life with my soul mate!
