live the life you have imagined.

Facebook was my vice, up until I decided to start a blog.  I made my first vagabundus LIFE post about three weeks after I started researching the components of a successful blog.  I am addicted to the Next Blog button!  I love reading about other people's lives, ideas, random thoughts, struggles, experiences, dreams, talents...its so darn inspiring to me!  I was up until 1 in the morning snooping around strangers' blogs.

Which leads me to my next point...I am so sick and tired of looking at other people's lives and wishing I could do the things they do.  Turns out I have a pretty exciting life when I stop comparing my life to others, and focus on my own mission.  I need to focus on living a life that I want, not a life that other people want.  That is why I am doing this simplicity thing, clearing out the distractions, doing what I want, and clinging to the important..my Faith in God, Family, and Friends.

I read the book  Crazy Love by Francis Chan.  Personally, I don't think its possible to really put into words how AWESOME our God is but, Francis does a fabulous job and really puts you on the spot in examining your own faith.  A rhetorical question in the book really drives home just how awesome he is...."Isn't it a comfort to worship a God we cannot exaggerate?"

How cool is that?  We can't exaggerate His holiness, His power, His forgiveness, His grace, His mercy...ah..It really boggles my mind!  In this post I want to share something that I am just now coming to understand, and when I say coming...I mean I am still a work in progress.

I cannot exaggerate how awesome of a life God has planned for me.  I am such a planner and I always think I know best...all the research, all the planning, all the earthly preparation does not come close to the amazing life God has planned for me.  He knows best, He knew me before I was born, He knows my thoughts before I think them, He knows my tomorrow before it comes...I need to TRUST Him and enjoy this earthly life!

*I just ordered the pendant pictured here from Annabelle's Art .  Love the pendant, love the blog, and love the cause!  Visit the blog, visit her Etsy shop, and get inspired.*

  1. First off, thank you for your sweet comment on today's post on my blog... your taking the time to read and comment means the world.

I also want to congratulate you on your new blog, and on your new journey! I also had to leave lots of things/beliefs behind some years ago in my life, and I do live somewhat of a marginal life for a girl with an education who was promised a great carreer... so I do understand your journey, and wish you the best!

And lastly, thank you for mentionning us on your post :-)
